Steve is an internationally certified IFMGA/AMGA Mountain Guide with over 29 years of experience leading climbs, ski tours, and alpine expeditions across North America and internationally. Based in Boulder, CO, he has guided clients in iconic locations such as the Alps, South America, the Cascades, the Alaska Range, and many areas in the lower 48
With full certification in Rock, Alpine, and Ski disciplines through the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA), Steve is committed to the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and client care. He specializes in technical alpine climbing, ski mountaineering, and high-end multi-pitch rock routes, and has a passion for helping climbers of all levels achieve their goals in the mountains.
In addition to guiding, Steve is an avalanche educator, a certified massage therapist, and anadvocate for environmental stewardship and access to public lands.
