Shreddy

Yeti Operations

Shreddy the Yeti is SAI Guides’ official Yeti On-Scene reporter and a trusted presence in the mountains—equal parts guide, storyteller, and walking morale boost. When conditions change, plans shift, or the day starts a little earlier than expected, Shreddy is already on location, reporting live from the trailhead with firsthand insight and an optimistic attitude.

As Yeti On-Scene, Shreddy shares real-time observations from the field: weather, snow, vibes, and the general state of stoke. As a guide, he helps set the tone for the day—keeping groups motivated, moving efficiently, and enjoying the experience even when the approach gets long or the weather gets “character-building.”

While Shreddy leaves the technical decision-making, rope systems, and safety management to our professionally trained human guides, he plays a key role in keeping teams engaged, confident, and having fun along the way. His specialty is turning uncertainty into laughter and effort into accomplishment.

If you see large footprints at the trailhead or hear heavy breathing just behind you, don’t worry—Shreddy is simply on scene, on route, and making sure the adventure stays memorable.
